Chromatic Domino Trail Touch any piece in a winding installation of colourful, pip-marked dominoes to release a two-way physical chain reaction. Seeded Domino Physics · 2026 How it is made A seeded set of irregular control points creates one non-repeating Catmull–Rom trail instead of a geometric ring or spiral. Equal arc-length samples position the dominoes, and each curve tangent aims its thin edge toward the next piece. Canvas-generated textures add two random pip values to both faces. Pointer raycasting selects a rigid body, then opposing Cannon ES impulses split the fixed-timestep cascade in both directions from the touched domino. Techniques: Seeded path generation · Catmull–Rom curve · Procedural pip textures · Pointer raycasting · Cannon ES physics · Two-way cascade This interactive WebGL sketch requires JavaScript.
